Premium options types for insulated glazing units

Our standard Insulated Double Glazing is denoted as 4TH/16Ar/4. This means the system has a 4mm pane of energy efficient glass (TH) with a 16mm argon gas cavity (Ar) and a standard 4mm float glass. With a heat transfer coefficient of Ug = 1.1W/(m2K) as per PN-EN674* standards, this system offers approximately five times the energy efficiency compared to single glass window pane

Our Insulated Double Glazing can be further enhanced to meet diverse needs and preferences. Options include upgrading to triple glazing for even greater thermal insulation, incorporating soundproof glazing to minimize external noise disturbances, and integrating sun protection glazing to mitigate heat gain and UV radiation.

Type Options Include: float, thermo-float, colour-float, multi-float (safety, anti-burglary, bulletproof), ornament and even electric self-obscuring glass (privacy). For doors, we also offer a wide range of door panels and combinations of panels and glass.

Two glass panes, one of them is covered with a low emissivity (Low-E) coating.
The spacers between the glass panes are made from aluminium or fiber reinforced plastic.
The inter-pane space is filled with 90% Argon and 10% air.
It is possible to reach a heat transfer coefficient of as low Ug = 1,0 W/m²K.
Packages with different glass thicknesses and specifications can be used to improve soundproofing and energy efficiency.
Energy efficiency is 5-times better than single glazing and 3-times better than typical local Double Glazing without Low-E and Argon.

Sound Reduction

Soundproof glass ensures the quality of rest and comfort of work in situations where the environment generates a high level of bothersome noise. The reduction of unwanted sounds is achieved by using glass of different thicknesses (A-Symmetrical) in the unit and by using laminated glass with sound-absorbing films like STADIP SILENCE® from SAINT GOBAIN™.
The best effect is achieved by combining both approaches – A-Symmetrical glazing thicknesses with Laminated Glass.

Safety

Glass for Safety & Security.

Laminated (safe VSG) and toughened (safe ESG) glazing enhance the safety of interior users, both children and adults. The level of safety offered can be adjusted to meet specific needs.
Depending on the chosen configuration, safety glazing is characterized by a varied class according to EN 12600 and/or EN 356. Glazing with a 44.1 or 44.2 configuration will provide RC2 anti-burglary protection, to protect household members from injury.

Solar Control

Glass to reduce heat gain.

Panes that reduce the flow of light and solar energy into the room. Solar control panes are offered with selective, absorbing or reflective glass.

Selective glass is coated on the exterior side with a special layer that reduces the amount of solar energy entering the building, while maintaining a relatively high level of light transmission. Sun protection glass can reduce costs related to the use of air conditioners.

Ornament

Glass for decoration & privacy.

Decorative / Ornament glass is an excellent choice for windows, doors and partition walls.
Depending on the selected type or pattern, it can not only increase privacy, but also brighten the interior, making it optically more spacious, which is another advantage.
In addition to standard matt acid-etched glass, we also offer glass in a wide range of colors, as well as ornamental glass available in many designs.

View Boost is glass that allows for the creation of incredibly effective facades without light reflections. The application of a special coating means that you can simultaneously enjoy all the benefits of selective glass and warm glazing units, but without darkening the interior.
Guardian ViewBoost™ glass can be used in double-glazed units utilizing Guardian selective glass and in triple-glazed units as the inner pane.

Decorative Ornament Glass

Most of our double and triple glazing units can be combined with ornament glass, offering enhanced privacy without sacrificing natural light.

Available in a variety of textures and patterns, ornament glass not only protects interiors from direct visibility but also adds a decorative element, making it a practical and stylish choice for both residential and commercial applications.

Spacer Bars

Spacer Bars form the edges between the glass panes and are a crucial part of double and triple glazed windows.

Spacers are typically silver colored (made of Aluminium or galvanized steel) but can be customized to with warm spacers:

The Swisspacer Ultimate provides significantly better thermal properties in comparison to the aluminum spacer and color matching in the interpane space to the gasket color or the entire window.

Glazing Beads

The profiles that hold the glass securely in place while also sealing the joint between the glass and the sash.
